TUESDAY SPORTS: Lady Raiders bounce Eaglettes, Raider baseball loses late lead

COFFEE COUNTY LADY RAIDER SOFTBALL 10, SHELBYVILLE 0

Haleigh Skipper sat down the first 11 straight Shelbyville batters on her way to a 2-hit shutout in the circle and Coffee County mercy-ruled Shelbyville 10-0 in six innings Tuesday night at Terry Floyd Field in Manchester (a game you heard live on Thunder Radio WMSR).

Skipper set the tone in the circle, striking out 10 Eaglettes and only allowing 2 hits through six full innings – a pair of doubles.

At the plate the Lady Raiders got a big day from Jalyn Moran, who homered, doubled, drove in a pair and scored 3 times. Paisley Campbell tripled and knocked in two and Lily Norman knocked in 3, including the game-ending RBI in the bottom of the sixth.
