Franklin County Sheriff’s Department announced an arrest for sexual battery by an authority figure.
According to the FCSD, after a month-long investigation, their criminal investigation division charged Wayne Arthur Wright with sexual battery by authority figure and solicitation of a minor.
Wright’s bond is set at $75,000. He is set to appear in court at 8 a.m. September 17, 2026.
“We cannot release any further details about this case because a minor is involved and the investigation is ongoing,” the department said.
