“The connections we’ve made in Manchester and nearby communities have been truly meaningful,” said Anthony Soto, general manager of Dot Foods Tennessee in Manchester. “We’re proud to support local nonprofits and make a difference where our employees and their families live.”

Each food pantry selected the products that would best address their needs from a list of available items from Dot’s inventory. For each delivery, Dot employees helped the food pantry staff and volunteers receive and unload their donations.

“We are so grateful for Dot’s generosity. We set an all-time record last month, distributing 955 boxes. Our demand is up over 16% from last year,” said Fay Jones, director of Good Samaritan of Manchester.

Dot and its affiliate trucking company, Dot Transportation Inc., are celebrating the first anniversary of their Manchester distribution center. In its first year, the Manchester team supported local food pantries, schools, and health and welfare programs through company initiatives and employee-led efforts, including United Way campaigns.

Dot Transportation plans to hire 25 additional drivers in Manchester by the end of 2025. Positions are available to new and experienced drivers, as well as veterans, teams, and retirees looking to pursue trucking as a second career.
